General
• No gum chewing.
• No hanging on dance bars.
• No running in the dance
studio.
• No hanging jewelry permitted.
• Do not wear dance shoes
outside.
• No soda or juice. Only water
bottles are accepted
in the dance room.
• No glass bottles.
• Be prompt, but not too early;
children get over anxious when they sit for more than 15 minutes.
• Doors open 10-15 minutes
early for the first class of the day.
• Students should be respectful
to the teachers and fellow classmates.
• Please label your child’s
shoes and accessories!
• Please have children use
the bathroom before class.
• Classes cannot be made up
during the month of May.
Fees
There
will be an annual non-refundable registration fee of $15
per student / $20 per family that is due at registration. Tuition is to be paid
in full by the end of the month. If lesson fees are not
paid by the end of a month, a $15 late fee will be issued.
Tuition is non-refundable and non-transferable to another class.
Tuition remains the same whether there are 3, 4, or 5 classes
in a month.
There will be no adjustments made in your tuition for any reason.
Payments
Take advantage of our “SKDS Easy Pay Plan” (more
information available at desk). If you are paying any fees/tuition
by check, please make check payable to Susie Karlik’s
Dance Sensation. Any check returned for insufficient
funds will be charged a$25.00 fee. If a check is returned more
than 2 times, cash only will be accepted. We now accept Visa
and MasterCard.

Inclement Weather
CLASS CANCELLATIONS/MAKE-UP CLASSES: Classes may be canceled
due to inclement weather conditions or for personal emergency.
Please call the studio if you are unsure if there are classes
(no personal calls will be made). Make-up classes will be available.
There will be no refunds or adjustments made to tuition due
to cancellation of a class.
Dress Code
DANCE ATTIRE: Proper Dance Attire Contributes To A Focused
Dance Attitude.
SKDS offers a full line of dancewear and dance shoes. Leotards,
tights, shoes, tops, shorts and our Logo Rhinestone dancewear
is available at all times. Proper dance apparel is as follows:
LEOTARD – Any color
TIGHTS – Pink, Tan or Black
HAIR – Must be in a Ponytail or Bun
*All shoes must be purchased from the studio.*
**Dance shirts and shorts only are allowed.**

Parking
Parking is located directly behind the studio. There is a walkway
between Emily’s Portuguese Bakery and Angie’s Nails.
The studio is conveniently located 2 doors down to the right.
There is also on-street parking in front of the studio. The
studio is not responsible for cars or belongings in the parking
lot that are stolen, damaged, etc.
Costumes
DANCE RECITAL/COSTUMES: Our recital will be held in the spring
of 2010. A costume fee of $90 will be due no later than November 15th.
This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable to another
costume. All tuition
and costume fees must be paid before costumes can be taken home.
Costume fee includes: costume, tights, accessory (if any), hair
accessory (if required), & minor alterations/steaming/prep
work.
